Discovery of Culture of Mendocino Fracture Zone
By: James Daniel Sims
The last vestiges of a civilization that once existed ,were hard to find at first, but with a
discriminating eye and persistence of an amateur archaeologist, musician and carpenter known as Dan the Man, pieces of the puzzle started to fall in to place. It all began with the purchase of a Logitech QuickCam Pro 9000, with image-perfect detail and clarity, with Carl Zeiss Optics. While looking at the Mendocino Fracture Zone on Goggle Earth and Virtual Ocean, it was clearly discernable that there were ramparts, roadways and giant stairways, leading down from areas above the far right portion of the fracture zone ,closest to California. Although being ecstatic of what I was seeing, I wished the images could be better. Not knowing if it were to have any effect or not, I decided to view the Zone through my QuickCam. I was amazed at the difference in the quality of the images after training my Pro 9000 on the Mendocino Fracture Zone. Even though the images were better, I discovered that if I covered up parts of my monitor with construction paper, to prevent unwanted glare from white areas of the screen, the images began to become clearer. With a little tweaking of the web cams parameters such as ,contrast;exposure, zoom, etc., images that were unseen at first began to appear, including a Sphinx like monument , but with a dog head with saber teeth residing beside a Serpent head protruding out from the retaining wall at the most bottom portion of the city. My mind was whirling at the implications of such a discovery , I proceeded to look closer. At my amazement, an object came into view that I couldn’t understand what I was looking at. And as fast as I found it, I moved the mouse too quickly and lost it from view. I was really aggravated having lost an image of something that was extraordinary and puzzling ,but was persistent enough to keep looking. It took another day ,I believe ,to find the elusive object again, having to adjust zoom level and contrast and other parameters to bring it into view. But once I zoomed to the correct elevation ,there it was. A vessel with a cable attached. The vessel is adorned with wings and a magnificent stylized bird head on the bow of the ship. After discovering this vessel for the second time,I was so relieved, I forgot to pinpoint the exact position it is located in.I am absolutely certain that one day explorers will rediscover and confirm the existence of the Culture of Mendocino Fracture Zone and bring to surface the beautiful and majestic bird vessel. After posting these findings ,all originating from US Navy and Nasa bathymetric charts found on Goggle Earth and Virtual Ocean, either the US Navy ,Nasa or Goggle Earth or all the above have concealed and covered up these images from the world. Some of the ramparts and, roadways can still be seen, but not to the extent as I previously discovered them. I feel grateful that I was able to discover the ancient submerged city of Mendocino Fracture Zone and other areas around the world before the concealment and coverup took place.Although not thinking anything at all about it at the time, I was told that using a web cam as a tool for discovery was unheard of and ingenious. I wish to thank Logitech and Carl Zeiss Optics for creating such a remarkable device as the QuickCam Pro 9000 which if it wasn’t for them, none of these images would have come to light.
